Job Summary and Responsibilities

SUMMARY

 

The Site Acquisition Specialist (SAS) position will be responsible for performing all aspects of the site acquisition process for sites which are assigned to them in strict accordance with the customer requirements.  This includes existing site lease/file review to determine existing entitlements, candidate identification for new site builds, identifying and ordering engineering and design services, review of engineering reports, lease negotiations, identifying zoning and permitting requirements, securing municipal permits, and all other services through securing Notice to Proceed.  The SAS will be responsible for tracking progress and dates and reporting to their manager as well as the customer as they may be directed.   

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; other duties may be assigned:

  • Accountable for planning, prioritizing and executing a project by working with operations, delivery organizations, construction and external customers.
  • Develop a complete understanding of the scope of work, deliverables, timelines and quality; and effectively execute.
  • Work with project management to develop the necessary plans to fulfill the desired results of the customer.
  • Identify site issues and provide solutions or alternatives when issues arise.
  • Manages change, formulates action plans, and mitigates risk to minimize schedule delays and cost.
  • Update KGPCo’s and customer’s systems and implement any other reporting protocol as requested by the customer or Manager.
  • Performs other duties as requested by Manager.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Five + years’ experience in site acquisition and/or related functional areas in a communication systems company
  • Knowledge of the geographic market
  • Excellent planning and critical thinking skills
  • Familiarity with OEM equipment and Tier 1 service provider network operations
  • Strong financial knowledge/training
  • Good computer skills including MS Word/Excel/MS Project required
  • Excellent Negotiation, Communication (Oral & written), Customer Interfacing, and influencing skills required

Pay Range in the United States: $75K - $110K based upon geography, skills, and experience.  May also be eligible for performance incentive opportunity based on company and individual goals and performance
